Red Paddle Co Warranty Terms, Conditions and Guidelines

 

Red Paddle Co warrants all products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.  This warranty applies to the original owner for purchases made directly from Red Paddle Co or an authorised Red Paddle Co distributor or retailer and is nontransferable.  If damage is due to a material or manufacturing defect, Red Paddle Co will issue a full or partial credit note to the distributor or send a replacement product (in special cases at the exclusive discretion of Red Paddle Co).  The owner, retailer or distributor is responsible for all charges associated with any repair or replacement (Shipping Charges, etc).

 

Red Paddle Co reserves the right to determine if a product will be covered under warranty. Wear and tear, cosmetic blemishes, and damage due to improper use, storage, modification, negligence or transport are not covered under warranty.

An original retailer receipt or invoice should be sent with all claims along with pictures of the issue and a picture of the serial number – this can be found close to the valve on the back of the board.

We would also like to set down some general guidelines for when to make a warranty claim and what sort of credit you might expect.

 

 2017 Boards and earlier

 

As a general rule we will not be accepting claims on boards from 2017 or earlier (boards starting with serial numbers RED17 or lower). You are still welcome to submit claims for 2017 boards and we can review the case. In exceptional circumstances and on a case by case basis, we may still be able to offer some small amount of credit, but this should not be relied upon or expected. 

 

 

2015 Boards

 

We will continue to extend the warranty period for 2015 model year boards (except for boards with a serial number ending in H).  Manufacturing defects found on 2015 boards, particularly delamination issues, will still be considered and treated as if the board was still within its original 1-year Warranty period.

 

2018 and 2019 Boards

The warranty period is extended to 2 years provided the boards are registered with us after purchase. (This should ideally be done by the retailer at the time of purchase but failing that the customer can register following this link to the Red Paddle Co website: https://redpaddleco.com/register/)

 

2020 Boards 

 

All 2020 boards have a 5-year warranty period provided they are registered within 3 months of purchase (https://redpaddleco.com/register/)

 

Issues that we will consider covering under Warranty:

Rocker problems (reverse or excessive), twists, pin-hole leaks, major delamination problems, failed drop-stitch.

 

Issues that we will not consider for warranty:

Wear and tear, cosmetic blemishes, and damage due to improper use, storage, modification, negligence or transport.
